This ear warmer measures 9" from left to right (about an 18" relaxed circumference) and is 3" wide, with plenty of stretch, allowing it to fit most adults comfortably.

About the fit: the measurements in the photos show the item lying flat and unstretched. These knits are stretchy — as the band stretches to fit comfortably, it becomes a little narrower than the flat measurement. A headband that measures 3½″ wide lying flat will be about 3″ wide on your head. That's normal for hand-knitted pieces.
