About the fit: the measurements in the photos show the item lying flat and unstretched. These knits are stretchy — as the band stretches to fit comfortably, it becomes a little narrower than the flat measurement. A headband that measures 3½″ wide lying flat will be about 3″ wide on your head. That's normal for hand-knitted pieces.

Washing Instructions

Hand wash only in luke warm water with mild soap. I like using shampoo and conditioner to wash my wool headband. After rinsing wrap your headband in a towel and squeeze as much water as you can out. Lay the headband on a dry towel (smooth and flatten it out) to dry!
